I love this!

Well I like it ... it’s open and inviting, allowing the reader to imagine they’re on this ride with you (which does reflect your whole vibe). I’m trying to reflect on whether I like it because it mirrors my own rename, months in (I forget how many) over to the current “Out Over My Skis,” which has a not-dissimilar vibe

Thanks Tom! Yes, your newsletter name resonated when I first saw it!

Wonderful. Excellent name for the kinda thing I find when I read this letter. Thanks for the safe and humourous space ✌️

I suffered for way to long in a fixed mindset. I’m all in on your new title. As you picture yourself being successful in a new endeavor and celebrate small victories along the way, you actually step into a new identity little by little...until you become it. Great title and congrats on 1 year. Well done!

Awesome title, Jen - and awesome title WALL - that's sooooo creative!

Thank you! I feel like post-its are my external brain. Whenever I get stuck, I pull out my post-its, start writing things down, and put them up where I can see them/sort them/move them around until something makes sense.

Such a great idea! I need to do this. My lists are all very 2D - I feel a 3D self-adhesive expansion coming on......!

I love it! I pretend I’m good at it whenever I: cook, dance, garden, teach a class, start a new job, write an essay. I think acknowledging we have much to learn is the first step in getting good at it. Love your new title!

Jen. I love this. You have the courage and integrity to show/model evolution in writing based on your growth. As humans we are supposed to grow and evolve and yet our Substack stays the same? No sir. Anywho you get my drift here. Stay tuned for my evolution and identity on this platform. Well identity is staying the same (I’m not Clark Kent) but I may be cloning or twinning or starting a new adventure. Talk soon. 🥳 Congrats!

I'm new here, so don't have a reference point for what you've been writing up til now, but I love the new title. It has an implied promise that we're all just doing the best we can, that none of us are alone with our imposter syndrome and perfectionism, which are absolute dream killers!

Thank you for the comment! And welcome!

Love the new name! I tend to rush headlong into things with great confidence because I’m good at so many things. Then about a mile down the road is when the imposter syndrome creeps in. (What the hell was I thinking?! I know nothing about entrepreneurship. I have no business purchasing a 120-year-old building and turning it into an event venue.”)
