Afraid to ask how y'all settle the marshmallow casserole question...

I'm happy to say I don't know what that is! 😂

it's the canned sweet potatoes baked with a covering of tiny marshmallows--I know i've served it when you've been at my place for one of my 'Bust your gut' dinners--not sure how you missed it, lol

Ohhhh! Yes, that. We make the canned sweet potatoes with butter and brown sugar on top, not marshmallows.

LOVE this!

I may start hosting my "Bust your gut" holiday dinners again if any of y'all want to drive down to Portland.

I remember on Thanksgiving meal at Zughaus when we watched the Star Wars movies

Hanging with you guys was always fun!

You crack me up, JenZug! Yep, ya gotta be in the kitchen to make Thanksgiving happen! For hours on end. Then the master clean-up crew! Love you guys!

my son just texted me if we needed him to bring anything :) He's a grown up! But, of course, I have already done all the shopping. Plan to put him in charge of the mashed potatoes and green beans while his girlfriend brings a pie. Maybe next time, I can ask him to host (in case I'm dying... to lay on the sofa and read)

Happy Thanksgiving! I remember the Renton house well and I want to say I spent at least one Thanksgiving with ya'll. I still like to have people over and cook for them. Today I'm making the turkey, stuffing and gravy. Looking forward to new traditions with my kiddos. I suppose I should make jello of some kind so my grandma doesn't come haunt us (being from Minnesota and all) 😉 lots of love to you all! And I love the picture of you two at the end. ❤️
