OMG Amy Poehler's podcast is absolutely keeping me alive right now! š I loved Mango and those Goth club skits. Especially watching the goth ones now that I have fully embraced my dark little goth self š
I also am in a writing rut and thinking I should just take a week off or repost something but canāt seem to do it. Iām so difficult sometimes. Another great title/subtitle
Christian mime's and puppet shows. You just can't make this subculture up. Even in the 90's I remember watching it and thinking this is weird. Is it really conveying the message they are going for? I feel like youth evangelism culture was actually about embarrassing Christian young people in public.
Also, I think we over decorate for Christmas. Put out 2 things and call it a day. You get the visual impact of a change without the overwhelm of the work and visual simulation. I put out less every year and enjoy it more. Still put up the tree but do sometimes think about what it would take to eliminate that...
Loved this! I've been away for a bit, and it's lovely to have this delightful post to read this evening on my first foray back onto Substack for a few weeks. It's perfect, so thank you.
Had a chat with 't husband yesterday about Christmas decorations. There are already some discussions in progress over (no) tree......!
Iām delighted by your newsletter and our connection here.
I see myself in the campfire time. That was wonderful.

This is the 3rd time this week that I've been referred to Amy Poehler's podcast. I really need to get into that!
I also clocked that line on The Lowdown. Such a great show.
That was delightful. Keeping doing random if you like, I dig it and am always excited to see your email in my inbox. š¤©
Lovely! Random! Human!
If you have not watched Last Week Tonight, Offerman and Mullally are to die laughing for
